WHAT TO EXPECT:
Start out with a digital or printed image of your favorite cute animal, a mushroom, a plant…your choice! Blur your focus (literally and figuratively), mix your colors, and paint. Remember, art is about letting go. Now, while the paint dries (don’t over-work!), shift your focus to try your hand at some flowers, a landscape, etc.. What kind of brush strokes feel good? Which color of paint excites you? Come back to your, now dried subject, and add pen lines to help it come into focus. No artistic experience is necessary!
MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED: pen, paper, watercolor paints, brushes
