Watercolor Feathers

The watercolor feathers were born when I was studying the shape, pattern, and feel of real feathers. My hope was that, in practicing drawing feathers, my minds eye would help direct my hands in the quick cutting of bicycle inner tubes into feather shapes. It did indeed help me capture the real feel of a feather and gave me these beautiful pen and ink drawings with splashes of watercolor.
