Watercolor - Little Birdies, Nests and Feathers

Did you know, just one minute of observing a cute, fat little bird will make you happier!? The fatter the better.

How it got started: Years ago, I worked at a Non-profit bike shop and put on a Bicycle Tube Crafting Party for a Women’s Bike Night. This lead to me using a pair of embroidery scissors to cut a pair of feather earrings out of a tube. I wanted to get better at cutting the tube into a feather shape, so I started drawing and painting feathers. Where do feathers come from? Birds of course! Where do birds come from? Nests of course!
